Payroll management services is a part of the duties of our manning and accounts team. Timely remuneration of competitive wages is a characteristic that is always in demand by prospective crew members and we at Rigel are committed to pay all crew wages as per International Market standard as per MLC compliance well within time.

Rigel has its inhouse travel management company. From the moment a seafarer leaves his house to his boarding the vessel and vice versa, the travel agency is keeping track and assisting with seafarers stay and meals across the globe.

Depending on the duration of the manning contract, RIGEL is providing the crew with working gear such as Helmets, hard hats, boiler suits, safety shoes, work vest, gloves, goggles, Winter clothing and more and replenishing the gears as per need to ensure that the crew has sufficient PPE at all times while onboard.

Rigel has qualified and experienced Master Mariners and chief engineers in office to regularly update the skills of their seafarers. They provide generic as well as vessel-specific training before the crew boards the vessel. The crew is well-appraised of the vessel requirements and maintain the standards established by the owner and the manager. Audit is conducted by DPA onboard to identify any training needs. Appraisal reports of officers and crew is obtained from Master and Chief engineer to know training needs. Appraisal report of Master and Chief engineer is obtained from technical superintendent. All identified training areas are addressed during Management meeting and onboard and shore trainings are conducted.
